What would be useful for your audience?

Trust, technology, running a business, or making difficult decisions. Let’s choose a topic that speaks to what your audience is dealing with.

Real experience. Something useful to take with you.

I draw on my work in engineering, business, and real estate, and on my experience as a mother and immigrant. I share practical information and real-life examples that give people more to consider when making their own decisions.

Tell me what matters to your audience. We’ll shape the talk around their interests, the challenges they face, and ideas they can put to use.

For Entrepreneurs, Investors & Leadership Teams

Trust is not a strategy

I lost more than $100,000 on my first joint-venture real estate deal when I was cut out of the closing. In this talk, I look at my own decisions: what I believed, what I should have checked, and what I do differently now. It’s also the story behind my forthcoming memoir, Cut Out of Closing.

What we’ll cover:
  • The Proof, Policies, People framework for evaluating opportunities and partnerships.
  • Questions to ask when an opportunity sounds convincing or someone is rushing your decision.
  • What to verify before making a commitment, while recognizing that checks cannot eliminate every risk.
For Business Owners, Associations & Leadership

Do you need AI—or a better process?

I start by looking at how the business works. Where does work get stuck? What is the team doing by hand? Sometimes AI helps. Sometimes a clearer process is enough. We’ll look at how to tell the difference before buying another tool.

What we’ll cover:
  • How to examine a process before trying to automate it.
  • Where AI might save time, and where people still need to check the work.
  • How to decide whether a tool is actually helping your business.
For Operations Leaders & Service Business Teams

When the business depends on someone remembering

A call goes unanswered. A quote gets sent, but nobody follows up. Customer information lives in three different places. We’ll look at how these gaps happen and how to make the next step clear without adding more work for an already busy team.

What we’ll cover:
  • Finding where inquiries and follow-ups are getting missed.
  • Removing unnecessary steps before adding software.
  • Agreeing who does what, and how everyone knows it’s been done.
For Women, Single Mothers, Immigrants & Entrepreneurs

Taking action when life can’t wait

I left a well-paying corporate job before I was financially ready because my children needed me. With two legal battles, a difficult personal situation, and no steady income, I had to keep taking action every day. Somewhere along the way, I rebuilt my corporate income. I didn’t even notice when it happened. This talk is about making decisions when waiting for everything to settle down isn’t an option.

What we’ll cover:
  • The Patience, Perseverance, Purpose approach to navigating uncertainty.
  • Examining assumptions and questioning popular career and business advice.
  • Looking at your options and deciding what makes sense for your circumstances, without pretending the hard parts are easy.
